With the deadline to renew your Montana liquor or gaming license quickly approaching, our legal team at Silverman Law Office, PLLC is ready to guide you through the process to help you avoid any violations or penalty fines.
The annual renewal season with the Montana Department of Revenue and Montana Department of Justice starts in May and runs through the end of June, so you must renew your license no later than June 30, 2024. Please note that you will need to complete this process for every license you own.
Please call us at 406-582-8822 and ask for Hannah Moore to discuss the information we will need to ensure a seamless renewal process with these state agencies.
If you would prefer to submit your renewal yourself, here are some helpful tips:
Most renewals can be done through your TAP account that is associated with each license you own; alternatively, licenses can also be renewed by submitting a paper renewal to MDOR and MDOJ. These agencies will likely be sending out their paper renewal forms to licensees in the beginning of May. If you choose to use the paper forms, please keep an eye out for them at the mailing address associated with your license. Once the documents have been received, please read through them carefully and answer all questions to the best of your ability. Once completed, please sign the form, and return to MDOR and MDOJ as appropriate.
