Attorney Joel Silverman, founder and CEO of Silverman Law Office, was honored with the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce’s Businessperson of the Year Award for 2024. Joel was selected from five nominees for his positive influence and significant impact on the community.
Over the last 12 years, Silverman Law Office has grown from a solo practice in the back of a Helena office building to a thriving firm with offices in Helena and Bozeman. With eight specialized attorneys and a total of 17 employees, the firm has provided legal services to more than 7,000 Montanans, and many of them have become repeat clients.
Beyond his role at Silverman Law, Joel is deeply involved in the communities he serves. He has served on the board of the Montana Business Assistance Connection and currently serves on the board of the Helena College Foundation. Through the company, he has contributed both funding and volunteer hours to many organizations including the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Montana, American Red Cross, Prickly Pear Land Trust, the Friendship Center, Helena Food Share, and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Joel also encourages his team members to engage with community organizations like Impact Montana, the Rotary Club of Helena, the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce, and Bozeman Professional Women. Joel’s commitment to community service exemplifies his dedication to making his community a better place to live and work.
