Kasey Kimball was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana where she went on to graduate from Montana State University with high honors in 2015. Kasey always wanted to pursue a career in which she could help others, so she moved to New York City to continue her education and enrolled in the Honors Program at New York Law School. While in law school, she authored a case comment published by the New York Law School Law Review and served as the journal’s Managing Editor. Kasey graduated cum laude from New York Law School in 2018, receiving the Dean’s Award for Student Leadership and the Faculty Award for Outstanding Service to the Law Review.
Following graduation, Kasey returned to Montana where she practiced with Browning, Kaleczyc, Berry & Hoven, P.C. and Berg Lilly, P.C. before joining Silverman Law Office. Kasey is licensed to practice in Montana state and federal courts as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and primarily focuses her practice on business and commercial transactions and civil defense litigation. Through her transactional practice, Kasey assists businesses in a broad range of commercial transactions while providing insightful analysis, strong advocacy, creative problem solving, and effective negotiation. Kasey’s general litigation practice covers a wide variety of defense claims, including tort and contract issues, employment actions, and commercial disputes. She represents business entities and individuals during all stages of the litigation process, helping clients seek favorable pre-trial outcomes whenever possible. Kasey looks forward to continuing to serve clients in Bozeman and around the state.
Away from work, Kasey enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, reading, staying active, and cheering on the Bobcats. In addition, she fulfills her passion for humane and ethical treatment of animals by volunteering with the Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter and the Humane Society of the United States. Since moving back to Montana, Kasey has enjoyed giving back to the community by serving on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Big Sky Country and as a CAP Mentor in the Bozeman Public Schools through Thrive.
