Although she was raised in Kent, Washington, and attended the University of Washington, August has always maintained strong roots in Montana. Born in Helena, she spent her childhood summers in Butte with extended family, fostering a lifelong connection to the community she now serves.
Her dedication to the legal profession extends beyond her daily work; she previously served as Vice President and National Association of Legal Assistants Liaison for the Montana Association of Legal Assistants. Guided by the words of Marian Wright Edelman, August believes that “Service is the rent we pay for being.” She strives to embody this sentiment daily, bringing focus and respect to every client interaction.
Outside of the office, August is a voracious reader who enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her cat, Sweetie. She also loves taking in the local history and counts the Berkeley Pit among her favorite local spots.
