Joseph Joyce is an associate attorney at Silverman Law Office, focusing on business law, litigation, estate planning, and probate. With a passion for advancing and helping businesses with various business matters, Joseph focuses on listening and communicating effectively so clients can feel comfortable and at the forefront of their legal issues.
Joseph was born and raised in Butte, Montana. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Montana. He received a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education, graduating cum laude.
Following his undergraduate degree, he gave back to his community by becoming a middle school/high school mathematics teacher at Butte Central Catholic Middle School and Anaconda Junior/Senior High. In these roles, he was the athletic director of middle school sports as well as coaching middle school and high school football as a defensive coordinator and coached sprinters for the Anaconda High School team.
After two years of teaching, he chose to pursue his law degree at the University of South Dakota. During this time, he also pursued a Master of Business Administration degree, and he graduated with both degrees in three years. This experience expanded his knowledge and understanding of the intersection between business and law, giving him a unique perspective on how the two areas interact.
After graduating from the University of South Dakota, he came back to the Big Sky State and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Fehr of the Thirteenth Judicial District in Billings, Montana. In this position, he was able to see how all areas of law worked from the judicial perspective. This gave him a unique understanding of how vast the legal field is. He gravitated toward Silverman Law Office because of their passion for putting the client first and their personal touch when dealing with legal matters.
In his spare time, Joseph enjoys taking advantage of the great scenery and recreational areas that Montana has to offer. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. When he is not enjoying the outdoors, he enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
