Mark J. Shutey is the Chief Operations Officer at Silverman Law Office, PLLC.
A Montana native, Mark was raised in the “Mining City”. He attended Butte High School and was a multi-sport letterman (football, swimming & track) for the Bulldogs. Mark was an “All-State” swimmer and member of the 1986-87 State AA Runner-up football squad. He attended Montana Tech and played football for the Orediggers aiding the program in attaining multiple conference championships and national NAIA playoff runs.
Mark has a deep passion for exploration of the pristine wilderness provided by the Northern Rockies and is a recognized freelance outdoor writer. He uses this creative outlet to share his backcountry experiences and has been featured in countless national and international publications.
Both Butte natives, Mark and his wife Tammy have raised five successful children and are beginning a new stage of their lives as grandparents. Together Mark and Tammy are formidable force always in search of new adventures.
Mark graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech before beginning an expansive and diverse career. Mark brings more than 30 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience to our team. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a unique ability to turn big ideas into tangible successes, from launching corporations to developing cutting-edge technologies and securing patents, trademarks, and copyrights. His expertise spans strategic planning, business finance, market analysis, and the art of bringing new concepts to life.
