
Ben D’Alton is an Associate Attorney with Silverman Law Office, advising clients in Billings and across Montana.
Ben practices in the areas of estate planning, premarital agreements, estate and trust administration, business law, commercial and real estate transactions, and federal and state tax law. His tax practice includes advising individuals and businesses on individual income tax, corporate tax, partnership tax, international tax, and estate and gift tax matters. He counsels individuals, families, and business owners on a wide range of matters, from structuring and forming business entities and navigating commercial deals to designing comprehensive estate plans and guiding fiduciaries through estate and trust administrations.
Prior to attending law school, Ben was committed to becoming a tax attorney and brings a tax-informed perspective to every engagement, helping clients make decisions that are not only legally sound but financially and tax efficient. After practicing with a regional law firm in Billings, he joined Silverman Law Office to continue his passion for providing client-focused and solution-oriented results to his clients in a team-oriented environment.
Ben received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Montana and received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, he competed on the Transactional Law Team, taking first place at the 2021 Jaffe Transactional Law Invitational, and served with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic and the State Sales and Use Tax Clinic.
A fifth-generation Montanan, Ben was born and raised in Billings and thankful to once again to call Billings home. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Kayla, snowboarding, hiking, watching sports, and golf.
