Benjamin Amelkin is a litigation paralegal who focuses on legal research, trial preparation, and case management.
With experience across complex civil litigation and public defense work, he brings sharp attention to detail and organizational rigor to every matter, keeping cases moving smoothly from intake through trial.
Benjamin holds a degree from Montana State University, where he double majored in political science and history.
Before entering the legal field, Benjamin built a diverse foundation in public service and civic life in Montana. He worked for the Gallatin County Treasurer’s Office and the Gallatin County Elections Department, interned for a congressional campaign, and served as Assistant Director for a YMCA summer camp.
He later worked at the Montana State Public Defender’s Office, an experience that deepened his commitment to fair legal representation for every client, regardless of circumstance. From there, he moved to a high-stakes complex civil litigation practice in Bozeman, where he gained hands-on experience navigating multi-party disputes and demanding case timelines.
Guided by his years in public service, Benjamin believes that good legal work starts with genuinely listening to people – a principle he carries into every case he touches. He was drawn to Silverman Law for its reputation as a trusted advocate for clients facing complex litigation and shares the firm’s commitment to thorough, client-focused representation.
Outside of the office, Benjamin likes to play guitar, ski, watch movies, and dance.
