Terisa Oomens grew up in small-town Wisconsin and has been on the path to practice law since she was 16 years old. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, but fell in love with the Mountain West. When it came time to attend law school, she took the opportunity to move to the mountains. She received her master’s degree and law degree from the University of Wyoming and discovered her appreciation for litigation.
Before joining Silverman Law Office, Terisa worked in both the private and governmental sectors and successfully litigated property, water, constitutional, contract, and probate disputes in administrative, state, and federal courts. Terisa joined Silverman Law Office as a litigation attorney and is licensed in Montana and Wyoming.
Terisa became an attorney to support clients through difficult situations. She advises her clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters to help them reach their goals. She values the trust her clients place in her, and she strives to take the stress of litigation off their shoulders so they can continue with their lives.
Outside of work, Terisa enjoys baking and exploring Montana’s vast public lands with her husband and their dogs. She especially enjoys hunting, hiking, and wildlife photography.
