George Haywood and Wyatt Medina
Silverman Law Office is proud to welcome two outstanding summer associates to our team this year: George Haywood and Wyatt Medina. Each brings a unique background, strong work ethic, and a shared passion for serving others, which is a combination that aligns with our mission of changing the way law is practiced.
George Haywood joins us from Syracuse University College of Law, where he is a rising second-year law student. Originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, George grew up with a love for ice hockey, skiing, fishing, and the outdoors, interests that helped shape his appreciation for teamwork and perseverance. He completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at Syracuse University in just three years through the university’s competitive 3+3 program, allowing him to begin law school early.
At Syracuse Law, George is actively involved in the Appellate Division, Alternate Dispute Resolution Division, and Competition Team of the Advocacy Honors Society. He also brings a strong sense of community involvement, having volunteered with Hunter’s Fund, a nonprofit focused on preventing distracted driving. Introduced to Bozeman through a Syracuse connection, George was drawn to Silverman Law Office’s values of innovation and integrity, and he is eager to contribute while soaking up all that Montana has to offer.
Wyatt Medina comes to us as a rising second-year law student at the University of Montana School of Law. Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, Wyatt holds an undergraduate degree in Plant and Soil Science from Oklahoma State University. His passion for Montana’s natural beauty led him to move north, where he worked in ecological monitoring and precision agriculture, first at the University of Montana and later at the Western Triangle Agricultural Research Center in Shelby.
Wyatt’s background in science and research eventually inspired him to pursue law, with the goal of making a more direct and meaningful impact in Montana communities. His interests span a wide range of legal areas, and he brings a thoughtful, analytical perspective to every case. When he’s not working, Wyatt enjoys road-tripping Montana’s backroads, fly fishing, gardening, and diving into his ever-growing reading list.
Please join us in welcoming George and Wyatt to the team. We’re excited to see the contributions they’ll make this summer, and beyond, as they begin their legal careers.
