Why We Created This Scholarship

At Silverman Law Office, we put our clients first in everything we do. Our attorneys, paralegals and staff help people solve legal problems they can’t handle on their own, and there’s no better feeling than lifting that burden off someone’s shoulders. We believe the way we practice law sets an example for how every client deserves to be treated.

The Legal Helper Scholarship is our way of investing in the next generation of people who will carry that work forward. A law degree is one path, but it isn’t the only one. Whatever field a student chooses, we want to support those who are dedicated to helping others with their legal needs and making the world a more compassionate place.

Who Can Apply

The scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an accredited program in the United States. That includes:

  • Undergraduate, graduate and professional students
  • Community college students
  • High school seniors and GED holders

Applicants must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. We’re looking for students who can show a real commitment to helping people with legal issues, along with clear education goals that will let them continue that work in their careers.

Essay Questions

Your essay should be 1,000 words or fewer and answer these three questions:

  1. What experiences led you to want to help people with legal issues?
  2. How have you already helped people with legal issues?
  3. What are your ultimate educational goals, and how will they help you continue this work?

How To Apply

Email the following materials to [email protected] by Dec. 31, 2026:
